Tamsen Garrie is a fully qualified Clinical Hypnotherapist and Counsellor.

She trained in Melbourne, Australia, at the Academy of Hypnotic Science where she gained a Diploma in Health: Clinical Hypnosis.  After her graduation, she was invited onto the Academy’s Intern Programme, a programme limited to exceptional graduates of the Academy where she completed her Masters in Clinical Hypnosis.

Born and raised in London, UK, Tamsen’s early career took a Corporate route, the majority of which was spent within a Human Resources Management context within the Oil and Investment Banking Industries.

A review of her skills and experience in 1998 identified the specific areas in which she excelled and those which provided the most job satisfaction.  It was the realisation that she added most value and gained most satisfaction from ensuring positive outcomes for employees, that led to a reconsideration of her future career direction.

There began her pursuit of a holistic approach to helping people, where the focus was not simply on improving working conditions, but on assisting people to make improvements in their lives generally.
